“we ARE taking the fight to philip.”

Governor Winslow – Irony is not lost on Josiah Winslow, son of Edward Winslow, a trusted, fair, and honest ally to Philip’s father. Josiah Winslow worms his way into Plymouth Colony’s governorship intermittently but settles in just in time to declare America’s first war. Josiah’s war tactics are ineffective, so he’s forced to rely on Moseley and Church to do his bidding. Winslow is lucky to have two captains at the table that can wage, fight and win a war against a decimated native New England population. He’s symbolic of systemic privilege and unbridled power.
